“Such a great team to work with!”
My experience using APM for both photo and video was very positive! I did a lot of research before selecting photographers/videographers because it meant a lot to me and they were certainly the best price (I needed 10 hours, and wanted 2 photographers/videographers) without compromising on the quality. Not only is their work wonderful, but they were beyond pleasant to work with. Amber and Jack were our photographers.. they were super nice, experienced, got us out of our comfort zones resulting in some beautiful pictures, and managed our very large families and wedding parties well. Bobby and Sam were our videographers.. and let me tell you, I am obsessed with our video. Not kidding, I watch that edited 8 minute video every day and it has brought many family and friends to tears. Knowing years down the line that I will be able to look back on that amazing video that perfectly captured our day makes me so happy. I would also love to give a shout out to Melissa, who was my point of contact throughout the process. She was professional, responsive, and very patient with my many questions and day of details. Such a great team to work with! I'd like to give one last thank you to APM for helping me navigate being a COVID bride. It was such a stressful time, re-planning an entire wedding day, but the support and consideration I felt from APM had a larger impact than they may know. I would very much recommend them for both photography and videography!

I truly believe there is no better company out there for wedding photography and videography. I can't say enough about the team at APM. My engagement photos were done by Melanie. My fiance (at the time) and I were so nervous about getting the right poses and the right look. Melanie made it so easy! She knew exactly how to help us feel comfortable and took the most breathtaking photos of us, It was clear she knew how to work with the light and the sun to prevent unwanted shadows and to highlight our best features. For the wedding, we had Emma and Saige. I can't believe what they were able to capture from all angles of the ceremony and the reception! We had several very large family shots that we wanted, which involved careful coordination with the DJ. I don't know of any other team that could have gotten everyone together for such a great photo. Then, there's Bobby - likely the nation's best videographer. Having scoured the internet for potential wedding video vendors, no one comes close to what APM can do. Every time I watch my video, I can't help but cry tears of joy! The way Bobby put the video together is incredible - a true masterpiece. I am beyond satisfied with the final products thanks to all the hard work of these amazing APM workers! You made our day so special and we are so grateful to be able to look back on these photos and videos for years to come!

Allison & Adrian Hahr share their experience working with Dave Soucy of A Photographic Memory to capture their first anniversary in Quebec City Canada.
Allison & Adrian looked in to hiring A Photographic Memory to photograph their wedding day, but due to distance decided it might not be feasible - a decision that they ultimately regretted. Disappointed upon receiving the photos from the photographer they ended up going with, they decided to reach out to A Photographic Memory for their first anniversary to try and capture the essence of their love that they felt was missing in their photos from their wedding day. This is their story.
“Beyond Impressed!”
Beyond Impressed! I had Amber & Melissa as my wedding photographers and I could not be happier with my decision! Amber was so helpful, making sure every little detail was thought of so that we could have the best pictures possible. Any special requests were met and he even had his own funny and creative ideas that I LOVED (think husband on the ground with a golf ball and tee in his mouth and me "swinging" with a driver)!
Amber and Melissa were professional, helpful, and kept me from stressing because I knew they would capture every picture that I wanted and even some I didn't know I wanted!
Some sneak peek pictures have already been posted and they came out absolutely amazing so I can't wait to see what the final results are but I do know that you will not be disappointed if you decide to have A Photographic Memory at your wedding!
I had a phone conference with Dave (the founder of the company) before booking so he could go over everything with me which was very helpful and this was followed up by some more informative emails and then another conference call a few days before the wedding to make sure everything was taken care of and it sure was!
My wedding day was the best day of our lives and I can say that Amber and Melissa and A Photographic Memory were a huge part in making that dream come true!

My husband and I got married back in May. Amber and Melissa photographed our day and they were absolutely amazing. I did so much research on photographers and talked to so many different companies (I couldn't even tell you how many) and I didn't feel 100% confident in a decision until I found A Photographic Memory. Words cannot describe how impressed we are with A Photographic Memory. From the first moment we walked into the studio, to our wedding on October 3rd, my husband and I knew we were making the right decision by choosing APM to capture our special day. Our wedding day was our first time meeting with our photographers, Melissa and Shelby. All I can say is, WOW! These FABULOUS women captured the most AMAZING moments on our wedding day. The teaser photos are nothing short of PERFECTION. We have received many compliments already, which is why we are sending a HUGE shoutout to our photographers and the entire APM team. Every team member that we have met with or talked to has been super professional, understanding, and genuine! Also, the photo booth was such a big hit at our wedding. We had them stay an extra hour because our guests were having such a fun time with it. Some of the best wedding planning advice I received was not to "skimp" on the photography. Amazing Pictures! My husband and I were married over Labor Day weekend at The Oaks. The venue recommended APM. I went to see Dave, the owner, at their beautiful space in Manchester. He was professional, informative and I felt comfortable trusting him and his company from the start. Tim did our engagement photos and Amber was the main photographer for the wedding. We just received the wedding photos back and couldn't be happier with the results. They did an excellent job and I would recommend them to any couple. Thanks again APM!

I had followed APM for years knowing that one day when I started planning my own wedding, that I would have them there. Anyone that has followed Dave and team's work couldn't say that what they do is anything less than amazing! Jim was our photographer on the day of our wedding and he was AWESOME! He was so creative and most of all - so patient (I have 3 girls - 3 yr old, 2 yr old & 5 month old so you can imagine how hectic things got for a bit!) He captured so many gorgeous shots! I still look through the pictures every day! I have people CONSTANTLY telling me our wedding pictures were breathtaking! Ahhh!! I get more excited even thinking about it! Dave made a point to tell me that the pictures taken on our wedding day are the memories we get to walk away with and help us relive that day. He was 100% right! We HIGHLY recommend APM to everyone! “I was completely blown away by my photos.”
I must jump right into this review and say look no further! Coming from someone who did extensive research on photography companies for my wedding and yes, I am one of those who solely relies on referrals rather than reviews, however this is the exception. My husband and I had the honor of having Dave and Melissa photograph our wedding and just as I expected I was completely blown away by my photos. I was very adamant about having someone I felt comfortable with photographing our wedding as well as engagement photos. Meeting Dave for the first time was like meeting with an old friend. We instantly hit it off and kept in touch throughout the entire year and a half up until the day of our wedding. My entire wedding party and guests still talk about our photography team to this day! How amazing and fun they made our experience. In addition to taking amazing photos they are absolutely great at handling big crowds. (Coming from an extremely large Greek and Colombian family) they had no issue in taking charge and direction as well as making sure all formal photos ran smoothly and that all the correct people were present to do so. (I cannot stress how important that is day of your wedding) I would absolutely use A photographic memory for all future events . From the bottom of our hearts we cannot thank you enough for making the most important day of our lives so memorable!

Not only were the pics incredible but the staff really outdid themselves. My husband and I met with Dave two years before our wedding and fell in love with his work and passion for photography. Dave also helped us with choosing all of our vendors. Not only does he just book weddings, but he is Great at helping you choose the best vendors out there. Brittany & Jim were our photographers for our August 29th wedding. They captured so many amazing memories that we will fully cherish forever. We are completely blown away by every one of our photos and that is only from the teasers. Dave and his team really know how to roll out the red carpet and give the bride and groom just what they need to make their day one they will never forget. One thing my husband and I both have said is that your photos are the most important part of your day because it's the only piece of your day that you have to look back on. “Dave and Jim were absolutely amazing and completely exceeded our expectations.”
When looking for a photographer, we were very picky. The photographs are the one thing that you keep with you to remember the day, so naturally I wanted them to be perfect. Dave and Jim went beyond our expectations. Dave was right there with me the minute I arrived. He made sure everything on me was perfect, from my hair to my shoes. He straightened out my dress and veil, and hair sprayed my hair so I would look flawless in my pictures. One of my eyes is slightly bigger than the other. In person it’s not noticeable, but it comes out in pictures. He did an amazing job at hiding the flaw. The entire time, he was leading me around the venue carrying my train so it didn’t collect dirt. The guys had an awesome time with Jim too! I cannot wait to see the rest of the pictures! From what I have seen from the teasers, they came out absolutely amazing! I am very excited to see the photo albums as well I highly recommend the photo booth. My guests had a BLAST with it. The photo strips are hilarious and I have a flash drive with every single one on it! There was a guest book with an attendant to paste the pictures in while the guests signed it. The booth was a huge hit. Guests could immediately upload the pictures to social media or send it to their phones. I don’t think there was a single guest who didn’t take a turn! It gave the guests something to do between the cocktail hour and when the food was served. Definitely one of the highlights of the wedding! Dave and Jim were absolutely amazing and completely exceeded our expectations. I HIGHLY recommend this group of photographers!

Dave and his team at APM were amazing. Dave sat with us personally to talk about our options for our wedding day and answered all of our questions. Along with helping us build a package that met all of our needs and budget. We had our engagement session and wedding photos with them. And we're blown away with both! It was really important to us that our pictures showed all moments. between candid photos and staged. Dave knew what we meant and that was exactly what we got! Dave and Jim were great, they asked me first what pictures I really wanted and then they took it from there. They were so creative and had great ideas, but even more they helped us and our wedding party feel comfortable and relaxed. The pictures were done and given to us so much faster then we expected. They were beautiful and captured every moment and more.

Amber and Jamie played roles in helping the groomsmen and bridesmaids get ready. They were very respectful and reverent during our ceremony in a Catholic Church, and worked collaboratively with our videographers. I honestly didn't even know they were there when I walked down the aisle!!! Our photographs are more than just your traditional "wedding photos." Both Amber and Jamie were so creative, capturing the littlest details of our day. I loved that the photos were not staged, fake, or cliche - they created lovely images that capture the excitement and romance of our fall wedding day without pulling us away from enjoying our own reception. I met Dave 6 years ago and was absolutely in love with his work and his passion for photography. I just knew that he had to be my photographer when I got married some day. Dave Soucy was the photographer for my sister’s wedding in 2010, and after seeing him in action and the pictures that came after, there was no doubt in my mind I wanted Dave to photograph my own wedding. The entire team at A Photographic Memory is professional, friendly, extremely helpful, and strives to do all they can to ensure you get exactly what you want for pictures. As of now, I have only seen the “teasers” for our wedding album yet I am so incredibly happy and thrilled with the way these pictures came out I cannot even believe there is more to come. “AMAZING TEAM!!”
I hired Dave and his team for my wedding and I thought i was getting the best photographer in the state of NH and when my big day arrived Dave and his team surely DID NOT disappoint ONE BIT. APM was amazing to say the least. They were on time for everything, took care of things that I wouldn't even know that a photographer would do. (for example putting my veil back in because someone hugged me too tight and pulled it out; or pinning my bra into my dress bc he said every time i moved it showed)
The details they pay attention too are unbelievable; fixing my necklace to make sure the clasp wasn't showing, getting on the floor to ensure that the best possible shot was being taken.
I cannot say enough great things about APM. I could go on on for days. The day was amazing, but even more amazing was seeing some of my photos (the teasers he puts up days after your wedding) I was literally was floored with how awesome they came out! I cannot wait to see all of them and know that my husband and I are going to have such a hard time picking for our album because I know that they are all going to be incredible.
I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Dave and his team at APM!!! My aunt has already said that she plans on hiring in for family portraits, and I plan to do the same when my husband and I start our family.- PS I live in NY and will travel back to NH just for APM thanks again to Dave and his amazing team for making my wedding day picture perfect- literally!
